Have you tried pulling the choke knob out to first notch ? I've got to do that occasionally in the situation you described, but not too often. You might want to have your dealer check it out, could be some carb setting goofed up. How long has it been since you air filter was checked/changed ??? Is the battery in good shape ?? Does the engine turn over well when this happens, no slow cranking etc. ?
